PUBLIC NOTICE
The Southwest Area Regional Transit District (SWART) plans on making changes to its fare structure. Discounts on electronic fare cards will no longer be offered. Electronic fare cards will be fixed at the normal general public fare rates. These changes will take place effective November 1, 2022. SWART seeks comments from the public pertaining to the proposed fare changes. Copies of the proposed fare rates can be obtained by contacting Sarah Hidalgo-Cook, General Manager at [email protected] or by calling 830-278-4155 x 3009. A copy of the proposed fare changes can also be viewed on the SWART website at www.paseoswart.org. The deadline to submit a request for a public hearing to provide public comment is set for October 25, 2022, at 12:00 P.M. CST. If there are no requests for a public hearing, the proposed fare changes will begin on November 1, 2022.
Run once each on the week of October 2 and October 9.
